Ok so I was born 11/22/88 at 3:00pm !

I was listening to an old song not many may know,

but some people might no, its called

the 5th dimension age of aquarius 1969!

anyways in the song it says!

When the moon was in the sabath house !

and jupiter lines with mars,

so it got me thinking!

I would love to know about where the planets where in postion to my birthday!

can anyone help me up! I looked up my astrology chart and its very difficult to read !

thank you,

The song is not very old! It is from the musical "Hair". The first part of the lyrics are:-
When the moon is in the seventh house,
And Jupiter aligns with Mars.
Then peace will guide the planets,
And love will steer the stars.
This is the dawning of Aquarius, etc.

But as you were born 22nd of November, you are nowhere near Aquarius. You are Scorpio; very close to Sagittarius. But the ancient Astrologers did not "chart" from the birth. They charted from "conception". The "normal" pregnancy is forty weeks; but can be very varied from that. So, unless the length of pregnancy is accurately known, it is taken to be 40 weeks.
To the old Astrologers, life begins at conception, not at birth.

Hi Stallard, I input your information into Alabe, which provides birth charts. Most astrologists go with the birth date and time, but as Brysing said, conception might be more accurate because it takes less time than seeing the crown of a baby and cutting the cord, but it's also more difficult to calculate because parents have a right to be private about that.

Astrologists observe celestial bodies as situated between sections of the earth and sections of some constellations in the sky. The PLANETS, that includes the moon and Pluto so it should really just be celestial bodies, those can be interpreted like divine interference of some quality, being applied to the HOUSES or earth-sections that are some part of your life, in a ways described by the SIGNS or the constellations.

So, the sun represents the ego, applying in your case to the 9th house and Sagittarius.
Moon in the second house, Taurus.
Mercury, 8th house, Scorpio
Venus, 8th house, Libra
Mars, 12th house, Aries
Jupiter, 2nd house, Gemini. Unfortunately, your Jupiter was also in retrograde so this can determine your main challenges, or subconscious or past life purpose that carries over to this life. Good news is, this is the only planet that you have in retrograde. Bad news is, you have a lot of hard ASPECTS, that's the angles that other planets take to other planets. Good news, you have some soft aspects too.
Saturn, 10th house, Capricorn
Uranus, 10th house, Sagttarius
Neptune, 10th house, Capricorn
Pluto, 8th house, Scorpio.

The houses are almost aligned with the signs because your rising sign is Aries, so even though your sun or self is Sagittarius, you come off to other people as more like an Aries. Your midheaven is Capricorn, or how your approach your life purpose.

Astrology is awfully complicated, like I don't even know if I'm using the system that keeps the sizes of the constellations equal or adjusts them for how big they actually are in the sky. I heard that Vedic astrology is more accurate than Western astrology, but it's all very complicated and didn't tickle my intuition. Still, I hope this helps!

I only said that "ancient" Astrologers calculated from conception. Modern Astrologers take the beginning of life as the first drawn breath. I travelled in the Far East, and women there carefully counted the weeks from the last menstrual period. Astrology is very serious in, for instance, Japan.

My apologies for misinterpreting you first post, Brysing.

Basically, Stallard, there are varied and numerous traditions of astrology all over the world and through time.

You are by no means the only one to be confused. That is why there are professional Astrologers!
