Sleep Problems

Hey, for awhile now I've had problems sleeping.
I've used medication to help me, and it works, but makes me feel kinda sick.
I had a friend suggest that I place rose quartz under my pillow.
I don't know what I should do, can anyone suggest a spell or any simple thing that might help?

Lavender is helpful for a lot of people. Lavender scented things in general may help.

I had sleep problems myself until I started meditating. The first few weeks it will not work as the untrained mind cannot just think nothing for more than a few seconds. But after a few weeks and months one suceeds to calm down, to get rid of thoughts and find a deep inner peace which makes the training worth several times. This is how I learned to sleep.

Try making a dream bag. Take a bag you get from buying gems/crystals in and add in herbs like lavendar, rosemary, chammoile, or mint. A dream bag is the same as a dream pillow, but there is no sewing work needed. Put the bag under your pillow each night

Those bags are usually plastic. You want a fine threaded cloth to let the aromas come through without the herbs leaking out. Even soft hide (like from rabbit or deer that is tanned until very soft) will work. You might try chamomile tea, for the calmness it brings, about a half hour before going to sleep. While going to sleep, think of something in nature, like water ripples or trees moving from a breeze; something peaceful to you. I hope this helps. Blessed Be...

Hello. I see you use rose quartz, another good crystal to help sleep is amethyst, you can just place this around your room or also under your pillow. It also might help to calm your mind before your about to sleep. This can be something as simple as reading a book, having a warm bath, or doing some meditation. I hope this helped. I hope your sleep problems get better soon :) - rowan

Have you tried hypnotherapy? There are many free hypnotherapy videos for relaxation and sleep on youtube for free that are very good. I had insomnia when I was pregnant with my son. I used to use them and they worked fantastically. Guided meditation is often superior in such cases. Since then, I've shared them with my husband and daughter and within 10 minutes of listening they're out like a light!

If that still doesn't work for you, I suggest a bath before bedtime, perhaps with some baking soda and epsom salt if it isn't a contraindication to any health problems you may have. The baking soda will help balance your PH, the epsom will help sooth soreness, and the two together help to gently detoxify the body through our largest organ (the skin).

Then directly afterwards, go straight to bed and turn on one of those hypnotherapy tapes on your lavender pillow.

Sleep well!
