Wild Plant Magik

Self-sustaining plants in remote natural areas are pools of power.

The prime specimens are aromatic, beautiful, or symbolik.

I seek to preserve the authentic smell to summon the raw energy.

Magic is birthed in the ability to accept rather than control, direct or change. True magicians sense the natural characteristics of the plant in possession, and merely draw the raw energy.

------I would like suggestions ---------------------------
in how to keep the plant preserved with its natural smell. I currently use lightly scented oils and glycerin.

Very interesting! I find myself doing something similar, though never thought of it in quite that way! I like to make extracts of plants to retain the oils and smell, i've never really worked with glycerin before.

Glycerin is great preservative. Though I haven't used it yet, I have some ready to add to my oils.

Re: PeyoteCoyote

I use Glycerin to help preserve the appearance of the plant from when it was gathered at its magical mountainous location.
I think of Glycerin as a stasis solution.

You have a compelling biography statement. Would you be willing to share with me your methods and the reasoning behind them?
