casting a spell in dreams

Does anyone have an idea if you can actually cast a spell when you are half awake or sleeping? I know it sounds ridiculous but I have been putting off this plan to cast a binding spell on my ex. Very complicated but no..we're not in a relationship but we have been seeing each other since 1 1/2 weeks ago and have been constantly with each other by the end of the day. It was very early this morning that I think I was half asleep that I recalled casting a circle then a binding spell for my ex to be always with me. Maybe it was a dream but I felt a strong surge of power enveloping me as I casted my circle (half asleep or in a dream) then the binding spell. Then I remembered falling back to sleep exhausted.
Can anyone tell me if that is even something possible?

Technically speaking it is possible. Even something as simple as a strong thought can effect the world around us. A spell is just the manipulation and direction of energy. It can be done in a simple meditative thought or be as complex as the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram. If you do not understand this then perhaps you should be studying a bit more before doing something like binding another soul to you. Best of luck! L.L.B ~Angie

Hi Lightseer...
Thanks for the reply. I have been --- and that is why I have been putting it off. I have been tempted to do so --- if only out of desperation but I chose not to (at least, in my wakeful state). That is why I asked because I was half asleep and felt or probably dreamt that I casted the spell. But I felt this strong surge of something like a light blue or electric blue ball enveloping me. I dreamt that it did and that I casted my circle, asked the help of the elements, and casted my spell --- all in my dream.

Like I said, it's possible. I have found myself doing my practice in my dreams. It could also be that your subconscious is portraying the connection you feel with her. If you are not using one, perhaps try a dream journal. Most dreams are just a way for our subconscious to speak with us, pointing out things we do not necessarily notice in our waking life. Keep note of recurring themes from your dreams and if their meaning is unknown to you, meditate on them. It will help you to feel more balanced and in control of your life. Well at least it has for me :)

Hi Light...
It may be possible that I did...still not sure. But after casting spells, I would feel some sense of drained energy --- exhaustion --- basing on previous instances. I remember there was even one time I got sick.
Unexplainable that I felt so exhausted at lunchtime yet I had a good sleep the previous nights after the dream.
Just thought you should know...

Most often you will feel sick or drained after casting a strong spell. After all, you are using your energy to create change. If you awake feeling like this then try grounding your energy. My favorite method is to sit up in a chair or stand outside with my feet touching the ground. Visualize roots growing out of your feet and into the ground. Then del the excess energy and any negativity flowing down the roots and into the earth. This is just one of many exercises you can use :)

Thanks Light..
I might just do that soon as I step on land. 8)
At first I had doubts that it was probably just a dream. But then, the surge I felt was so strong and have felt so drained since that I had the uncontrollable urge to sleep it off. Now I am really starting to be convinced that I did as am feeling this way..
Thanks for the reply...
