i've been told lavender or rosemary essential oils, as well as jojoba oil can help with hair growth. i don't know how well they work, or if it can regrow hair if you're going bald or something, but it can help. there's also certain herbs and oils you could use as shampoo to strengthen the scalp/hair.

I know if you put 20-30 drops of rosemary essential oil in jojoba oil and use this as a topical treatment for the scalp to coincide with the New Moon, you should see significant results by the next cycle. Olive oil is an excellent choice as well as it nourishes hair and skin. Hope this helps.

Mint or any thing that has a stimulating factor.

Hair only grows where the pores are open, and quickness is based with how stimulated it is. The more stimulated, the faster it grows. I suggest a clarifying shampoo (chi clean start is a good one) mixed with a bit of mint essential oils

Rosemary, sage, oregano, mint, mustard seed, ginger, honey, egg yolks, castor oil, olive oil and molasses all greatly help hair.

Also chanting the following 'stretch it, twist it, make it grow, like a river let it flow, thrice as fast my hair will grow, this is my will, so mote it be' while brushing your hair helps!(:

Sorry to say if there was a herbal remedy to grow hair I would be a very rich man but there isn't and I'm not.

If you have had a medical reason for it ruled out then at sixteen your hair loss is likely hereditary it would be worth finding out if anyone else in your family had early hair loss. Sorry to say hereditary hair loss is irreversible without cosmetic surgery.

Another factor could be diet. A change in your diet like cutting out some food stuffs can lead to hair thinning and loss. Crash dieting can also have an impact on hair and nail health. Hair loss from a poor or changed diet will most likely come back once you have readdressed the balance in your diet. A good diet will do a great amount more for your hair that anything you can rub into it.
