Painting candles

So, if I have no colored candles, just white ones, can i paint it another color? Do the spell works in the same way?
It's a little difficult to me, my family doesn't know i'm a witch, and i can't just go to the witchcraft store and buy herbs, candles and incenses without have to respond a lot of annoying questions!

Thanks.

(Sorry, bad bad english.)

That is a fabulous idea. The main purpose of candles (and other tools) is to get you into a state of mind where your magic can flow more freely. If painting the candles will allow you to attain this state then by all means do it.

Something to keep in mind for the future though might be to buy a candle making kit. It's a fun hobby and your family won't know the true meaning behind it. That way, you'll be able to make the candles however you desire (blue, pink, red, scented, unsecented, shape, size, etc) all within the comfort of your home.

I hope you find what you need, and you english was pretty good. :)

I've seen candle making kits in most of the larger craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

I agree with Sinixlovely comment again :) You can buy candles thou without your family knowing that your a witch cus many people use candles without begin witches. Maybe buy some bath oils, some sented candles along with the one's you need for your magick. So your family will think you using them while you have a soak in the bath. Tea light candles are great for spells, as no-one would know, you can say you need them for your oil burner. As long you anoint them before you cast any magicks your be fine. I often have used tea lights or mini bees wax candles as they take a less time to burn down unlike a large tapper candle. You can also get hold of tea lights more easier & it does not look old to buy a few as lot's of people use them in baths, for meals, to light a room, for romance & for oil burners. Don't over think things, there's allays a way!
