Magickal Principals

1. Magic is natural.

2. Harm none -not even yourself- through its use.

3. Magic requires effort. You will recieve what you put into it.

4. Magic is not usually instantaneous. Spells require time to be effective.

5. Magic should not be performed for pay.

6. Magic should never be used in jest or to inflate your ego.

7. Magic can be worked for your own gain, but only if it harms
none.

8. Magic is a divine act

9. Magic can be used for defense but should never be used for attack

10. Magic is knowledge -not only of its way and laws- but also of its effectiveness. Do not believe magic works-know it!

11. Magic is love. All magic should be performed out of love. The moment anger or hatred tinges your magic you have crossed the border into a dangerous world. One that will ultimately consume you.

In my opinion, #11 is the most powerful principal out of all of them.

2. That's the casters choice, especially if (s)he wants to harm him/herself

5. I'd personally pay to watch if they could do something amazing with magick, why not line your own pockets and make others happy?

7. If you want to gain something out of it, do it how you wish, just understand the possible consequences beforehand.
8. In my opinion I'm not divine, and most human arn't. Therefore our actions, including magick, wouldn't be divine.
9. The same can be said about guns, swords, knives. If there is a just cause for your attack, then attack with any tool you have.
10. You'd believe you know it as there are no absolutes, but agreed.
11. Magick is a tool (extraordinarily powerful, but still a tool), like any tool it is not inherently 'good' or 'evil'. If you wish to commit an act of 'good' or 'evil' with it, there will be a reaction.
