Wiccan,witch&pagan.

Hello, now this may upset some people, but i feel that it needs to be said,i have noticed that a lot of people use the word witchcraft, when they are talking about wicca,or paganism when they are talking about wicca,or even wicca when they are talking about witchcraft,i would like to point out that, while these three do tend to overlape in most places, they are not the exact same, not all witches follow the religion wicca, not all pagans follow wicca, and some wiccans don't practice magick, you can be any religion you want to and be a witch, there are witches who follow a different pagan path then wicca, there are jewish witches, there are christian witches, satanist witches, hindo witches and so one,i just wanted to point that out, thank you for your time.

holy run on sentences lol.

i see your point, and it's true. paganism is more the umbrella title for those whole follow a polytheistic religion, or practices magic. as it's been said many times, all Wiccans are Witches, but not all Witches are Wiccan. Wicca is a religion, Witch is a title given to someone who studies magic, celebrate the seasons and may or may not worship deities. if you are Wiccan, than you should believe in the rule of three and the Wiccan Reed. Witches don't. they might believe in karma, or do their best to not bring harm to others however to say they follow the threefold law or the reed, not necessarily. Witchcraft though is the art of spell work. labels get confusing, especially in the Pagan community, as long as you know the basic difference, i don't care, and i don't think many do either.
