I've been dreaming,hearing,and seeing(on tv and the zoo) snakes alot lately. It think it's a sign but i just can't figure it out. I do have a phobia so i feel uncomfortable but the picture pops up in my head just randomly sometimes. Does anyone have an idea why?

I can tell you the meaning of seeing a snake in your dreams, this is a theory i've learnt...
When you see a snake in a dream, means a change and transformation that are going to happen to you.
Snakes are the sign of "life, death and reborn".
Snakes are symbolic in few ways;
In the native tribes in North America,shedding of the snake's skin is related to a new start in life. Gillian Holloway wrote about the symbolism of the snake "with the dying, or losing a loved one, often dream about snakes. Seems that dreams are involved with the mental awareness of the transition from this life ... the next world ..."
Carl Jung speaks about a similar connection between earth and heaven in his discussion of the snake as a symbol of medicine. He writes: "Perhaps the most common dream symbol of transcendence is the snake, as represented by the therapeutic symbol of the god of healing from the Roman mythology- Asilapios, which is a symbol to this day the medical profession, and originally expressed down the staff of God Asilapios which mediators between earth and heaven."
The Staff of Asclepius is the symbol of God Asklapium, medicine and healing ancient by the Greek mythology. The symbol consists a snake, and it is associated with astrology and healing.
Few people think that snakes are the symbol of the evil (the jewish) but it should not concern you.

so , those are the beliefs about snakes in dreams and about snakes themselfs, and sorry for my broken english :D

Even in Judeo-Christian religions they use the snake as a representation of knowledge/wisdom. The snake in the tree in the garden of Eden represented Satan and his knowledge/wisdom that he encouraged Eve and Adam to take. In this story however the knowledge/wisdom was not seen as a good thing depending on your perspective.
