how to summon a nymph?

i want to summon a water or a wood nymph any answers?

Well, summoning is usually something most people frown upon. It's considered rude. May I ask, what do you need a nymph for? Why should one go to you?

Among the fae summoning is considered very offensive, all depending on the individual nymph's personality they may help you if they choose to be present with you but they can be very vicious beings. The fae are free spirits they will not respond to orders they are equals to us and therefore do not wish to be bossed around.
What are your reasons ?

well to those who ask why is for someone to talk with in my element i dont know why i put wood nymph but water nymphs the most.

and to be only friends with them i want to talk to a water nymph be her friend.

and also i wont boss them around i would ask nicely for them to come ill be a poliet gentelmen

You can work an evocation or invocation to call such a spirit, and learn from it. However I would recommend being familiar with these practices before utilizing them.

The other option is to leave offerings in the hopes of attracting such a spirit, or to otherwise go to a location where they might reside with offerings, in the hopes of contacting one and communicating with it.
