you have 2 options; you could banish it, or you could bind it to an object. banishing is permanent, though, so i would do it instead. however, if you bind it, you can use its power for magic (dark magic only), or you could purify it. if you choose the second option, i know a spell. otherwise, seek help from other members.

While binding can be useful, I advise against it. I highly suspect that it is much more difficult than banishing and if you fail, you will only make the daemon angry. Without a doubt, the best tactic for magical confrontations is to avoid them. Will I believe combat spells exist (fireballs, shields, etc.) they are nowhere near most of our capabilities. While a banishment/protection spell is appropriate for this situation, I suggest attempting communication with the daemon first. After making contact, you must first discern whether or not this is in fact a daemon, it could be a ghost, for example. Secondly, you must figure out why it is here. A ghost could just be "haunting" the building your in, though a daemon is much trickier. Most (if not all) daemons enter our universe only when summoned, meaning that a daemon coming after you is likely from another "wizard". If it turns out to be a ghost, convince it that it's dead (as is the usual case behind hauntings), get the information it may be trying to give you, or convince it to leave. That's all the info I can give you.

listening to it is the worst thing you could do. daemons lie. they will lie to anyone about anything. banish it. that is the best decision.

Some people work with demons. I don't think they always lie. But like anything, they don't have to tell the truth.

Also, you could try talking with it. Just because there is a presence, doesn't mean it is something negative. Could be something just trying to get your attention.

light a white candle and ask the presence to leave. DO this politely at least give them a chance say it positively and let the candle burn out. I f it doesn't go then conduct a banishing ritual and then if that doesn't work bring in a priest. Real demons can be really nice they are sometimes just pagan gods other times you get naughty spirits claiming to be demons when you're not. You could just be feeling protective of your pregnant girlfriend and this spirit could be nice but because you don't understad it you don't want it near you girllfriend which is understandable but not neccessarily fair. Unless you felt it when you moved in to the place that spirit has a reason for being there whether thats good or badd it sounds like you don't know give it a chance to leave then force it to, ust like you would with a person.

"D(a)emons" aren't all evil like not all "angels" are good
