I have a shrink in my big fat extended family. He told me that a deja vu occurs due to a chemical imbalance in the brain.

Another very senior doctor, in a discussion, once said that frequent deja vu, is often felt by epileptic patients way before the onset of their condition.

Get it checked if its happening more than twice or thrice a day. It's probably a medical condition.

Deja vu has many different explanations.

Some people think that deja vu is memories of a past life. You are doing the same thing that you did then and you remember doing it but you don't know why.

Some other people say that it is your eyes. One eye takes in the scene before you half a second before the other one. That can cause someone to experience deja vu.

But all of this is up to you on how you look at it.

There are also three types of deja vu.

Deja vecu - already experienced or lived through
Deja visite -already visited
Deja senti -already felt
