Magic; How This All Works

Why are there even spells for harming others, and trying to abuse your magic to bring wealth to yourself? Do any of you even know the Wiccan Creed? The basic rules of Paganism? ANYTHING? D:
You're not supposed to harm anybody, with your physical self, or with your magic, otherwise you will harm yourself. You're not supposed to use your money to bring yourself wealth, whether it be money, or pointless lust. So why are most of the spells on here about such things? Seriously.
Shame on everybody who casts these spells. Shame.

Well first of all, not everyone believes magic should be used for good. And second, not everyone on the site follows a Wiccan or Pagan path.

This site offers a variety of spells for the people of various paths; maybe some spells are not within your morality line, but they are within the boundaries of others.

Not everyone follows the rules of Wicca (which is a religion); as a matter of fact there are many craftspeople who do not believe in the law of three. The site has Satanists, Hinduists’, Christians, practitioners of Santeria, and many more. So you have to be a little more open, magic has many ways as do the practitioners. And this site does not lean to a specific side.

I personally don't believe in most of the rede. The law of 3 also seems to be off for me though I do believe in karma. Just because you believe the pages you can find on the internet are what every person should be following doesn't mean they are.

That being said I think everyone that does follow the rede and any pagan path that doesn't believe in harm would also claim that those documents are widely open to a persons own interpretation. Just the law of 3 itself has plenty of space for people to argue about its true meaning. It could mean you do something and 3 different things of the same nature come back to you or it could also mean you do something then one thing comes back to you thats 3x as powerful as what you put out. Thats only 2 ways of putting it though I'm sure someone out there could come up with more for just that.

It all depends on what you personally choose to believe in and what your interpretations of such things are since none of us live in a world that is purely black and white.

I find it rather disturbing that you speak as if all magick users are Pagan or Wiccan. This is simply untrue and rather closed minded.

What a person chooses to do with their magickal practices is up to them. Not you, me or anyone else. We each have a path to follow and lessons to learn, and each will do so in their own way.

If someone wants to cause harm, magickally or physically, that's their lesson to learn. If someone wishes to gain wealth through magickal means, thats their lesson to learn. If someone wants to obtain "pointless lust", that's their lesson to learn.
No one stopped you from learning that the Rede was right for you, nor should you stop someone from learning what they must in this life.

"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the Law. Love under Will." - Crowley

That quote was actually what the Wiccan version was based on and altered from. As with everything in the occult world, the actual meaning of it is personal and up for interpretation.

To begin not every single person who practicies magic is a wiccan or a pagan... Every single person chooses there own path to follow whether or not it is pagan/wiccan it can still incorporate magic. Secondly the "wiccan" creed and threefold law people seem to choose whether or not to follow them. It's up to the person. If they whish to harm someone then they do, if not then yes it might appear to have a better outcome to people.

ok think of it this way sometimes you might have to do the wrong thing to get the right thing in the end like a spell to harm someone what if they were about to kill someone wealth spells could be used to help with finacial trouble

Well Scropio make susipions into facts then find a way of undoing what has been done.

Back to the original post, this is what I think:
"You find dead leaves where I find flowers
I find beauty where you see horrors.
You taste sweet
I taste sour.
Difference between you and me?
I am me and you are you every day, every hour."

Point: Everyone has a different veiw on things dont shame those because you think your right and Im going left.
