Nine Things a Psychic Vampire Would Say Edit Text

A psychic vampire is anyone that drains the life energy or spiritual vitality from another human being. Psychic vampires take on all manner of shapes and descriptions; they are co-workers, lovers, strangers, emotional abusers, anyone who saps your vitality can be a psychic vampire. It is important to be aware of the psychic vampire mind set as this can provide clues as to whether you are a victim of their influence and lowering of spiritual energy. In many ways psychic vampirism is a personality type and the following list details nine attitudes or thought processes which a psychic vampire might feel toward another human being.

My happiness is more important than your happiness. You are responsible for my happiness.

My needs are the most important needs; your emotions exist to serve mine.

I will take from you until there is nothing left to take, and then I will grow angry when I cannot receive what I desire from you.

You are only necessary in that you supply me with energy and support. In the end I will make sure that you aware of just how unnecessary you are.

My life is the only life with meaning and value. All others exist only to support mine.

I will use whatever means I can to take what is mine. Your energy is mine for the taking.

I am not responsible for my own spiritual energy. You are responsible for sustaining me.

I take from you because you have allowed it.

I will support you inasmuch as I would support a herd of cattle or the growth of a crop. I have no emotional attachment or investment in you as a person. You are a means to an end.

Notice the recurring themes of domination, control and dependence. Psychic vampires depend on others for their energy; they feed off of the spiritual energy of those around them and often look for individuals with an originally heightened sense of spiritual worth and vitality. Such individuals are highly sought after by the psychic vampire as they provide a stable source of life energy to drain.

What makes you think they are not? Taking what they need to live from others while giving nothing in return sounds either like parasitism or predatory behavior.

Either way I decline to be a victim.

Fragarach,

You do realize that vampires of any type have willing donors or find alternate sources of energy that do not take from others, such as plants, atmospheric phenomenon, and so on. I know many that do this. When there is a donor relationship it is an agreement between the two parties, nothing forced. Also, for many the experience can be beneficial on both parts, as those with a good bit of negative energy could benefit from such a relationship. Perhaps you should read more into the subject before you are so quick to judge.

I have nothing more to say on this topic.

Farewell.

On the topic of shot in the head.
If shot by a low caliber. (smal pocket size hand gun and so on)
strait in to the forhead.
Ther is pretty thik bone there and some have been lucky and survived it;)

but now of people that needs to putt others down, to feel good them self. And others that misuse there powers.

And wouldent it almost be right to say that energy drainers. (in this case, people. Mostly that don't realise it to. )
have a similarity to vampire'ism.

At one point, he once said that if you were a true vampyre, you would be able to survive if he shot you a few times in the head.

His intelligence on this matter is ignorable in my opinion, unless he decided to actually research.

Yep. Sure did. And to date, no self-proclaimed vampire has ever offered to take me up on my offer to help them PROVE that vampires are real supernatural beings. They've all copped out with cheap excuses like "I'm just a normal human being who likes sucking other people's blood. If you shoot me I'll die."

Not a real vampire in the lot. Nothing but a bunch of pathetic posers who can't tell the difference between a LARP and reality. Or worse yet, people whose lives are so pathetic and meaningless that what they do in a LARP is more meaningful and satisfying than what they do in their real lives.

Losers, every one of them.

Yes, I'll agree that there can be energy exchanges involved in blood play. And yes, there are people who call themselves "psychic vampires," who siphon magical energies from other people. But the fact of the matter is that any competent energy worker can do the same thing. Most of us simply won't do it because it's unethical. Taking people's energies, even with their consent, doesn't make you a vampire: it just makes you a leech.

What's really annoying about all this is that if most of these people would put as much effort into their real lives as they put into their fantasies, they wouldn't have to depend on fantasies to feel good about themselves.

But they won't.

Myrdin human forehead is the thinnest part of the skull, the third eye area.

OK I don't think a real vampire, hollywood or book vampire, can survive a bullet in the head. Actually I think it's the best way to kill anything, from zombies to werewolves (in video games, movies etc.)

As for the pure medicine, there is a woman who survived a bullet to the head, it came in through the forehead and went between the brain hemispheres. A man fell on a construction site and a large drill went through his eye and between the brain hemispheres, he survived. Many people have fragments in their heads and continue to live normally.

I understand the not wanting to be a victim of psychic vampirism sentiment very well, but I think there are people out there who would be willing to be in that sort of relationship granted that the rest of the psychic vampire's personality and lifestyle was friendly and beneficial to their situation. Or to be a bit graphic, something like a BDSM relationship where both people share equal power though in opposite ways.

As an extreme example: A young person being fed off and taken care of by a psychic vampire, like a "kept man/woman". Not the prettiest or most sincere relationship in my opinion, but how people choose to live their lives is up to them. Some people may even benefit from having their excess energy sapped off of them, so that they're not hyperactive or anxious or unable to sleep, whatever negative side effects their extra energy produces.

Maybe someone who is more psychic vampire-savvy can help me with this question: Could psychic vampirism be used as a healing method, similar to the use of leeches or blood letting? I would imagine the negative energy or blockages wouldn't be too pleasurable to intake - though I think another member here has pointed out that energy is just energy and what one finds negative another may not - but you could always learn to remove the energy without taking it in, no?

Turn it into a positive strength rather than a negative stereotype sort of thing. Though I don't think marketing the term "psychic vampirism" would go over well in the healing community, maybe a less stigmatized term would be better for that situation?
