My Second Question

Fate. a Grand Plan? A galactic hiccup?

Reason: In the past week alone I've found myself either attending a funeral or being told to attend one (3). In which case there was always that person that says "It was God's plan." Was it really?

So tell me what Are your views on fate. Are we bound by our choices? Are we tied to a cosmic chain of events? Just as before I ask only to be polite.

I find that people will console and justify themselves through divinity or by placing such events into a "grand scheme".

What I believe personally is another matter, the universe is unfolding infinitely experiencing an infinite amount of branching realities that coexist, exploring every outcome, concievable and otherwise. Therefore, everything will happen and in many cases, nothing will happen. Does this mean there is fate? Is it fate to say you will eventually turn up the three of hearts and then flip every card in an entire deck?

Personal opinion and views on the matter.

If there is an inescapable fate, free will does not exist. Everything you believe is a choice is already determined, and you have no actual freedom to change your own path, as fate, God, whatever, has already determined every step you tread.

If you believe in any god(s), it is my opinion that it is feasible to believe they have a plan for you but it is up to you to follow or not follow their desires in that regard. This lays a possibility for an intended fate but also free will.
