Look, I know, alot of people are going to think this is craaaazy! But I really want to see the (Supposedly)two ghosts in my house and others if possible other then using ouija boards or something...I also want to visit the spirit world via Astral Traveling? :)
Any magician, sorcerer, or witch that has an interest in astral projection should typically master one thing first.
That thing is meditation.
Mastering meditation is a must have for anyone who plans to astral project or it's shamanic equivalents. This is always extremely difficult in it's first few steps, but being able to quite your mind anywhere and visualize are extremely important, allowing you to shut down all auxiliary thought to focus your spiritual and brains processing power to a singular point or action, in this case astral projection. Doing so is entering trance, and trance is the goal. Not all methods of trance require meditation, but it's a well documented and used method.
I'd start by meditating for at least ten minutes a day, and working yourself up to twenty, thirty, and onwards. A good way to keep your focus on one thing is by staring at a candle in the dark as you stay still and ignore all outside events.
That said, as someone who utiliazes hedge-crossing, a shamanic form of astral projection, I would be quick to tell you to invest your energy in protection and warding before you go bumbling off into the otherworld.
Especially when your first few times over there, you will stick out like a candle in the darkness, like a sore thumb, especially if you haven't gotten near death or don't understand it.
Certain entities tend to be attracted to the beacon that is your presence there, and could try to harm you, make you mad, or follow you back. There is a reason for witches and shamans understanding the dangers and devising quick ways to return or protect themselves.
