Sleep paralysis is always associated with not being able to move. Thus the paralysis. ;)

People also often tend to see things around them while in this state, and experience it very vividly. It is all part of the normal issues with it.

Sleep paralysis is a very scary thing. My sibling had it one night. He saw a hand coming through his window whilst hearing screaming. I'm surprised he isn't scared that it could happen again. I, though, have not had sleep paralysis. I hope you don't have it again! Sweet dreams.

I have had lucid dreaming which I used to be a pro at as a child I could start a dream just where I left of after being awake not so much now but it does happen :) and hi have sleep paralysis and it was not so pleasent !! I'd be in a panic and I would feel to scream or move but could not !! People say it's just a common thing with it but I felt it was a very strange experience some people also associate it with the Hag if I'm not mistaken, but that maybe just superstition to others!

Sleep paralysis is a perfectly normal condition that tends to occur while one is in that state where the mind is waking up but the body has not yet caught up to it. It has nothing to do with magic or with any sort of spiritual entities. It can be confusing and a bit frightening when you don't know what is happening.

You can find an excellent body of information about sleep paralysis at http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/guide/sleep-paralysis
