Losing one's self

So I have something I must ask due to my fears. I feel my sense of self, my identity, whatever makes me, me, slipping away. It feels as though I am losing all the things that make up who I am. I have no idea what this means but I am hoping it doesn't have anything to do with what happened to me 2 years ago. I had overdosed when I lost my sister and foster father, and I was pronounced dead after three hours in the hospital. I came back, and I have never felt...right. It was as if my soul were still somehow stuck halfway between the worlds. I feel the call of the afterlife and can remember it extremely vividly. Please if you can tell me why I feel like this and feel my sense of self slipping please let me know.

Get help from a therapist or something, regardless of what this is you've had a traumatic experience that you need to recover from. Whatever this is you need to find closure to fully get over that near death experience. I hope you find a resolution to your crisis through whatever means is best.

I agree much to the part about seeking therapy. Much to thessupernatural aspect as there is from going through that seeking help and talking about it will definitely help. Not through personal experience just study I have observed that those who suffered near death experiences have reported that they don't feel completely back. An idea that someone once explored was grounding and centering. It seemed to help Calm the idea for answers though it didn't take away the feeling. They eventually came to terms in knowing tthey had been apart of both sides and usually also once that happens toy see and have experiences from both sides.. As if a window had been opened and you see and experience things that happen both here and there that a lot of people may not understand. That doesn't make you crazy that makes you, available. So my opinion, again not from experience just observation would be to talk to someone and relax. Your here because you still have work to do. You're here because your supposed to be and that's all you need to let matter.. :) hope this helps!

Hi,

I'm very sorry for your losses. I'm glad you are here! :)

The advice above is really solid. Here's my say- therapy will help you to talk about your emotional pain. Maybe try getting a self help book based on loss and grief. Next, try grounding. That's great! Maybe meditate on gainful clarity. Most people that had NDEs come back spiritually changed or awakened and woulld rather go back. But, the people here are right. You are still here for a higher purpose. Try focusing on finding that purpose. Maybe it'll get your mind recharged for your time left here on Earth. Message me if you want! Cheers :)
