Hi, and a true story

Hi my name is Jennifer, I am a wife, and mother of 5, and a witch(not wiccan).I dabbled in the craft when I was a teenager, and then forgot it and tried to be Christian. well I finaly gave up on Christianity. lol.

last Monday I went into the yard trying to find a good tree branch for a wand, I got very overwhelmed because I couldn't figure out which branch came from which tree. I gave up.
Tuesday I went out to eat with my husband and kids, and it started storming really bad. It was still raining and dark out when we finaly got home. A tree fell in my backyard while I was out. It missed our trailer thankfully. Wednesday morning I went out to look at it, I studied the leaves and came in to look it up on the computer. It took me several hours but I finaly figured out what it was. A White Ash tree. I looked up it's magickal properties and coulden't believe it!
So now I wonder did the storm bring me the tree because I needed it?
Did the tree sacrifice itself because of me?
Or did the goddess send it to me ?
What do all of you think?

I mean if the whole tree came down during the time you were looking to make a wand, that's got to mean something important. What i get from this story is that you have been behaving well or at least have pure intentions with your workings, the spirits of nature won't ignore something like that. Also stay on the path you are going don't get blinded by pride, you're doing good at the moment, keep that innocence.

You must be having too much positive energy around you and so for your wand the tree sacrificed itself.
Be like this forever and thus you will not only get help from gods and spirits but nature and elements will also help you.
Blessed Be.

Thank you both. I do wish that only one big branch came down instead of the whole tree.lol. It seems like a waste but a gift is a gift. I have taken some leaves and some bark and some limhs to make wands but there is no way I can harvest the whole thing, I woulden't have time.

Don't waste the whole tree! Carve things out of it! Make ash wands and sell them to other practioners in need!

I am using as much as I can, the problem is that the owners of the land is coming to chop it up soon. I have harvested leaves and 6 wands so far, but it's way to much for me to do myself.

You don't have to use the whole tree, if you are done with it then give your gratitude to nature or whatever you feel sent you the gift.

... I'm new but I still know what that means. I know a bit about sacred magick arts. Do you know when the tree was planted? Did you feel mana radiating from the tree? If yes, how did it seem? Do you specialize in the Dark or light arts?
