Pentacle Tattoo

Hi everyone!
I'm getting a tattoo tomorrow and would like any advice on which way should the Pentacle should be being facing, it is going to be on my wrist.
Pointed so it looks the right way up to me or looks the right way up to who-ever else is looking at it?

I'd say let it look right to you, after all you are the one who is getting the tattoo, and you have to be happy with it for the rest of your life, not any one else :)

I would also like to point out that in the craft, one of the biggest things we deal with is symbolism and association. For example if you ask me what the color black means, I would say darkness or evil, as I associate black with darkness. If you ask a different person they might say that to them it symbolises protection or the unknown.

You should consider the same principle when it concerns the tattoo, and which way up would it symbolise the correct meaning to you. I hope this helped and Blessed Be!

Agreed I would say it should face you. As an example if that were your pentacle used in your spell/ritual it would be right facing for you. Same principle

Yes I think facing me is the way I'm going....and It's going to be a white UV tattoo so it's more personal. I don't really go out anywhere at night apart from having close friends over or visiting them. I'm so excited!

I dont think you should get it at all if you are not sure which way to put it. No offense. I have tripple goddess symbols on both my forearms, intimate fairies on my calf and a pagan star on the back of my neck and i knew exactly what i wanted. Its permanent. I've had controversy. You need to be sure.

I ended up getting it on my leg just above my ankle and I'm very happy with it!
