Hex of Guilt Spell

I am wanting to perform the Hex of Guilt Spell which calls for me to bury the voodoo doll at my nearest crossroad. I am not able to do this as I live in a highly populated area where it is against the law to "deface" or "damage" public property. Is there some other way I can complete this spell other than burying the doll at a crossroad?
