Books...
By:
Post # 1
Hello every one,

There is probably a thread on here about books, but I'm not willing to go through all of the past threads to find it. I was possibly wondering if anyone knew of any good books to read that would help me get a better understanding of all magic and could help me see if I can do magic. I know I have to start with meditation and grounding but I'm a reader. I am the kind of person who study's up on something before she acts.

Please and thank you;

You should by far check out Llewellyns new world books. She has a wide range of books on any and every magick you can think of and by many top wiccan authors.

I love her books and almost every wiccan book I have is from her. Best place to start.

There are a few posts on books in the forum, if you put books in the search above forum you should find them with little effort.

I'd look for something by Scott Cunningham if you wish to learn more about magick I suggest his book Earth Magick, it explains magick as well as some basic types of magick and some spells. Raymond Buckland is another well known source, but if you're not Wiccan I'd avoid his books simply because most are written from a Wiccan view while Scott writes more as a "anyone can do magick" perspective.
