Honey.

Honey is a very old substance. It comes from the worh Hunig. It was the first widespread sweetener used by man. In legend, it is said cupid dips his arrows in it before aiming it at lovers. Mead, an alcoholic beverage, was made from honey was reffered to as "The Nectar of the Gods". Honey was also used as a form of currency, trade, or offering.

Honey was not just used for food and beverage, it also had some great medicinal properties.

Fair Warning: Do NOT give honey to infants .

Honey can be use in many ways medicinally.

Raw honey contains an antimicrobial, and is great to use on minor cuts, scrapes and abrasions after being properly cleaned.

Honey also has antibiotic properties, which are effective in fighting off colds and those awful sore throats. To relieve blocked sinuses, mix a teaspoon of honey in a post of hot water, place a towel over your head, and inhale the steam.

Different varieties of honey can help heal different ailments.

Acacia honey for cleansing the liver, and digestional health. Eucalyptus honey is great for preventing colds and headaches. Red gum honey is good for antioxidants. Heather honey has a good amount of protein. Linden Honey acts as a sleep aid or antiseptic. Neem honey is good for skin conditions and allergies.

Honey is good and proven that the best type of honey is one with real pollen it is becoming extremely difficult at times to find actual honey with pollen in it. Pollen in the honey helps lose weigth as well as boost immune system.

I have seen people use honey with angel magic. Or dealing with angels.

Honey is good to attract good fortune, fertility, and love. One of the most well known african goddesses Oshun is known for love and her like with honey.but was poisoned by honey in one folklore.

Perhaps Honey jar spells are a good thing to look up for those who do not know what a honey jar spell is a practice in hoodoo to help spiritually and help you gain your wants in desires sometime used for protection.


Honey si wonderful and is a good thing to use in cooking and in spiritual and other ideals.

Honey is one of the substances that never actually spoils .It has been found even in the egyptian tombs and it was still intact after 2000 years .
My nana used to give me honey with crushed mustard seeds to consume when i had sore throath and it always workred to make me feel better .

According ayurveda mixing cup of water with one table spoon lemon juice , one table spoon honey and black papper make you loose weight .

Love your post as I think that honey can easily be overlooked for its medicinal properties. I like to use it in homemade cough syrup :)
