After reading bios, does anyone notice they always say "If you cross me I can be your worst nightmare". To me it's very immature and really nothing do with REAL witchcraft. Again I believe its for shock value. I know some of you are serious about your path...but most...is fluff. Don't want to offend anyone one..just an observation. For serious practioners..The Broomriders is a great site and only 21 and over can join. Blessed be.

they don't always say that, but i know of some that do. i kind of shrug it off. sometimes i believe it's youth believing magic can help them get back at people, but other times, it's the person's path. not all witches are tree hugging peace freaks. the difference being, those will think before casting, if you're just being annoying, they'll block you [maybe report you] that's probably what they mean. myself, i'm just glad they wrote something, i can't stand blank profiles with no picture and only the bare minimum written on it.

broomriders you say? i'll check it out, not really in the need for another pagan forum site, but they might have some good information. thanks for that.

I have to agree with Niko, having a bio at all is kind of nice. There are those who put up threats I think honestly more because they are afraid of an attack from someone else. A good part of it is for shock value, or to make themselves look hard.

There are many that are very serious about their paths, and true there is a lot of fluff as well, its just a matter of sorting through it all.

Thank you for the suggestion on the site I will have to take a look at it.

Nash@

Because those over 21 have fully developed, and are almost always more mature than those UNDER 21. Many Fluff or "Look at me"'s are teenagers going through hormones, a rebel phrase, and are overall immature when it comes to friendships, let alone magick and religion.

But even then I still see people well over 21 acting like kids and teenagers. It matters not that they are fully developed or not, it matters who they are. Most mature really fast and others can take until they are 40 years old. So trying to go off of the bases like age to remove "fluff" really isn't a good system. It would be better to interview each person and check them out than to block them due to age.

Just saying.

I agree, and understand what you mean, Nash. I myself have not turned the age of 21.

However, not much is stopping an eleven-year-old from posing as a twenty-one year old.

Note that I am young, and often make playful fluffy jokes, but I understand the concept of magic, and much else, to the extend where I can respond reasonably, if not begin a conversation_ Also,,, hormones?!?! What do you think kids are? Gerbals? This is only true of kids who are,,, to put it no other way, perverted_ Fortunatly, I am not :)

Kake for all and one for kake!

I do not agree with age restrictions such as that. I am 15 years old myself but I take my practice very seriously. I understand that most problems with "fluffiness" is with teens but some of us teens are more educated than some of the older people who may have just started practicing. I feel that there should not be a age restriction but if someone starts being fluffy just delete them.
