Craft in my blood?

I'm a some what "normal " mom ,36 yrs old ,and living in norange county and I think I am a witch. My aunt was a very powerful white witch with a very dark past . . I didn't know her well but during her darkest time my father had many provlems with drinking and drugs and the sprit board was a common thing during the partys with her . My mother, the national merit winner and sceptic was spooked one night when a child spirit knew things about me that no one else knew , forbid my father from contact with my aunt as long as she practiced the dark magic. I didn't meet her again until I was 15. I knew nothing of her past when we reconnected but when we met again she looked me in my eyes took my hand and told me I had a gift. Se soon died .
I had always had seen "things" and had" feelings" which for some reason my mom always believed. She even went as far as not signing a lease for a house because I really had a bad feeling about it. I have always been drawn to the supernatural but even when my friends practiced I never did because I didn't wanna be a poser. Now I have a 7 yr old and I think he ay have something . He loves cemetarys like me and the supernatural doesn't scare him. He has for some reason embraced the image of the Buddha and karma is something that he figured out aon his own and will explain to you eliquintly.
Could we be witches? I feel I belong to he community and have never practiced. And why at this point in my life am I some drawn to it? Any help or input would be great.

Being a witch is something you do like being Christian or being a car enthusiast, not something from your blood.

As for why you love the supernatural, you always could have been a witch/magician last life. Or perhaps your karma simply says it is time that you took the next step in spiritual growth.

This isn't Charmed or The Secret Circle

Being a witch isn't something you are its something you become and you do that on your own and has nothing to do with what your family does

You write strange things, "your aunt a white witch," while at the same time, you write that she was engaged in black magic. White Witch never engaged in black magic .. If only the day it is the forces of light and at night the forces of darkness. one who works on two sides, does not live long, action, a maximum of 45-50 years.

terms of your abilities .. developed them, study magic. and only with practice you will understand my purpose in magi

As Chiron quite rightly said, witchcraft isn't something that is passed on through the blood. It is something that you take upon yourself to engage in. And contrary to popular belief, having an ancestor who was also into witchcraft doesn't make you any more powerful or pass on any abilities.

As for 'feeling you belong' and whatnot, perhaps this is some sort of calling? I suggest you research a little more, see what interests you, look into 'the basics', etc.

Finally, when you mentioned that you had seen 'things' and had 'feelings', I suggest you look into clairsentience and similar matter.

Yes I believe the gift can be passed from gen to gen. My ancestry on my mothers side is Native American and Ive had odd experiences all my life. Starting when I was about three or four when I saw something in a mirror that wasn't there. I never thought much about it and never had the drive to invest time into the study of such things unto recently and I'm thirty. So yes it could be heretic.

Many people think that bloodlines have influence with your magic power.
There has been a common belief in Generational Magic that dictates the older the bloodline of a practitioner, the more psychic ability or magical power they have.

In actuality, it is the individuals focus, concentration, level of awareness and dedication that determines spiritual strength when performing acts utilizing spiritual power.

We are all born with the natural instincts of alertness and premonition, just as we are all born with the ability to suckle for food and comfort. There is also the common denominator around children using visualization through playful imagination.

Not only are bloodlines not fundamental for gaining magic abilities powers, they're not even related to said powers.

Your bloodline is your physical, genetic lineage.

Magick is about your Will, your energetic development, and your karma.

The past of your family will not matter.
