candle issue

so I did a spell that requires me to burn the last of the candle until it goes out on its own. Well, I did the last part last night on the supermoon and the candle is still burning after almost 24 hours... what does this mean and what do I doo now?

.... It means your candle is taking longer than expected to burn, likely from the size of the candle, and now you wait while the candle continues to burn.

Well as long as it doesn't mean anything in terms of the actual spell then that's fine.

It shouldn't. Most things that want the candle to finish burning within a specific time frame will actually tell you this and suggest an appropriate candle type/size.

The spell doesn't even usually come to fruition with the burning out of the candle, so it's not even like this will make your spell take longer to come into effect.
