Does Anyone have info on black spiders and their meaning? Today I found the 3rd black spider in my bedroom. The first 1 I noticed crawling up my bed towards my pillows 2wks ago @ 2am. The 2nd very small crawling across the floor towards my bed @ 8pm about a wk ago. 3Rd 1 today on the wall @ 11am. All were black at least 6-8 legs and hairy. The 1 today was the scariest looking about the size of a penny. I grew up with the occasional spider in our home but have not encounterd 3 black scary ones within a 2wk period. There are freaking me out. Help, yaya42

Its summer. That's when spiders are out. Capture them and let them go outside. Its great to pick up signs from animals and insects, but a few spiders found in your bedroom is a house thing. They like to crawl inside when it rains because its a dry place they find safe.

Signs are when animals and insects act oddly, spiders are bold little guys. If you want to pick up on natural signs, learn more about all living creatures. For instance a spider who makes a very wide web in the middle of the open is sensing that the weather is going to be mild. When animals act unusually timid, especially your own pets, a storm or earthquake is most likely brewing. These are all observations you can make and decipher once you've observed animals and insects for some time.

If a particular animal is drawn to you strangely, all the time, it is might be an animal totem of yours.

I have a habit of attracting homeless dogs. They pop up at my door every few years, sometimes I will keep them, if I cannot (if they don't get along with children or my other pets) I will make sure they find a good home. Even ones told to be aggressive or shy by their owners become very affectionate toward me.

This is my personal example of unusual behavior. Not everyone is used to opening their door to a small or large dog wagging their tails at you. You have to ask yourself if their actions is natural behavior or something more spiritually instictive

Insect and arachnids are very sensitive to smells and certain ones repell them. I know ants don't like coffee grounds, wasps don't like mint and clove as well as bounce drier sheets (no clue why but it works). I'm not sure about spiders but I'm sure you can find something out there to keep them away from your bedroom.

For 4 days after seeing the 1st 1 I slept horizontal at the end of the bed, fully clothed with a hoodie on, hardly slept wake'n up 2 check my surroundings. Lst Aug., was getn ready 2 showr mid aftrn, I look'd my entire body ovr 4 imprfctns, was A-OK. Used the restrm with cell n hand on the net, forarms rest'n on my theighs as I reached 4 tissue with my lft hand I noticed a great amt of blood on my theigh, look'd @ my forarm & blood there too. I quickly wiped away the blood & found on the Lt side of my wrist 2 sm, very noticable bite marks. I freaked! I'm a nurse so I treated it as I was taught. No pain or swell'n @ the time but within 2 hrs, slight swell'n, stifns & prom'nt noticable bite marks with 2 faint hair like protrusions. No addt treatment needed. The next day I saw a blk hairy spider n the bathrm. Sorry, but I had 2 put him 2 rest.

I don't mean to alarm you, but you may have had a nest of them hatch near or inside your building. If they all look the same, that's probably what it is. If you keep seeing them so frequently, it may be time to call an exterminator. I love nature but I draw the line when it starts to attack me or get a little too friendly.

But before you do anything drastic try this stuff

If you scroll down there are even more links for other ways.

I also read that essential oils of lemon and orange mixed with water and sprayed around where spiders may lurk or enter into your rooms is effective too.

Oh almost forgot! Spiders taste through their feet so when they walk over something that doesn't taste good to them, they don't stick around. So washing any hard surfaces with lemon and orange oil products, I know I've seen some carpet cleaners with citrus as well. Go crazy and make your house smell like oranges and lemons. Might just do the trick and if it doesn't, at least your house will be nice and clean =)

Well, you don't have to worry about them biting you because very few people die from the very few dangerous spiders. Also, though this may have been already mentioned (I am tired and not reading the full of super long posts) there is no way to attract them to a smell, or drive them away with a smell. They do sense vibrations through their hairs, so if you want them out then try having something on around your bed that will vibrate enough to scare them off but not keep you awake.

Oh but it seems you are sensitive to spider bites. As long as they dont cause too much pain, dissyness, or cramps you should be ok. :)

One more thing, from my experience in keeping spiders is that sometimes they deviate from their normal behavior.
