Altar Fountain

On my Altar in my room, i have a gorgeous fountain, and in it are shells that i have collected from the beach. I have been charging my fountain for days now, giving it some of my energy every day, and now, the water that runs over the shells is causing them to change colour, they are all slowly changing. Does anyone know what this could mean?

Could mean a number of things.

Maybe the water's PH level is lowering, causing it to become more like an acid. If there's anything else in your fountain take it out and change the water, see if that makes a difference.

I replace the water every day with pure, spring water...

well it could be the fact that shells do decompose or your energy is flowing into them through the water

Shells do decompose, yes. I suppose it could be your energy, though I do doubt that your energy would disintegrate though.

true, but it isn't the shell itself, just the colour becoming lighter in them. They can't be more than a week out the sea too.

I am assuming here that you are talking about shells you gathered on the beach by the ocean? If that is the case the answer is simply that you have taken shells meant to exist in salt water and put them into fresh water. The change in salinity will cause the colors to fade and eventually the shells will deteriorate.
