Well, recommending books depends largely on what it is that you would like to learn more about. If you'd be a bit more specific about where your interests lie we can probably give you additional suggestions.

That being said, here are some recommendations I would suggest.

Magic and Spell-casting :

"Before You Cast a Spell" by Carl McColman

"Spells and How They Work" by Janet and Stewart Farrar

"Modern Magick" by Donald Michael Kraig

Wicca:

" Wicca: a Year and a Day " by Timothy Roderick

" Wicca " by Thea Sabin

" The Witches' Goddes s" and " The Witches God " by Janet and Stewart Farrar

" The Wheel of the Year " by Ashleen O'Gaia (there are 2 books)

Traditional Witchcraft:

See the excellent list Weatherwax made athttp://www.spellsofmagic.com/read_post.html?post=858986

Druidry:

" The Druidry Handbook " by John Michael Greer

" The Druid Magic Handbook " by John Michael Greer

" Druid Mysteries" by Phillip Carr-Gomm

Chaos Magick:

" Liber Null " by Peter Carroll

Ceremonial or Ritual Magic:

" Learning Ritual Magick " by John Michael Greer

Protection and Shielding:

" Psychic Self-Defens e" by Dion Fortune

" The Witch's Shield " by Christopher Penczak

I'm sure others will also chime in with suggestions regarding their own particular magical paths. And do be sure to let us know whether there is a specific area of magical practice about which you would like to know more.

magic is not only spells and rituals, so that you know. Learn philosophy.

Hi thanks for all the suggestions
To be more specific I would like to learn how to cast spells.
But I also would like to know more about it in a philosophical aspect.

The stronger you can make your mind, the better a Witch you will be. It"s important to learn how to.

maintain focus for long periods of time

move at will from one state of consciousness to another

access untapped parts of the conscious and subconscious more easily

Controlling your sensory perceptions

manipulating energy, (raising holding, releasing, and directing that energy to you intention)
