Desert Dwellers

Would anyone know of any desert creatures or spirits that reside in the South West United States? Aside from landvaettir.

I see faeries, I live in Ireland so they're all around but I'm not entirely sure but there's a fae who lives in turmite mounds I think. If you ever need any info on faeries, spirits, angels etc just mail me! Blessed be

Study the folklore of the area. More likely than not, there'll be some mention of spirits or other non-human beings in stories and lore.
