When spells tell you to gather energy what is this energy they talk about. is it just surrounding heat and light energy or is there another form that is used in magic?

These spells are asking you to gather energy from all around you. Some of these energies are the Life-Force energy, Earth energy, Chi , or Prana. You can gather these energies by grounding, meditation, and visualization.
