Question about books
By:
This post is to get perspectives on members who may have read these books when they were starting out, the question I'd like to ask from the more senior members who may have read them are these books credible or reliable to use?
These are all book I have read over the past year as week by week, i'd order the next one in at my local libary. I have done a little research myself into some of these authors; for instance Scott Cunningham was a favorite of mine because of my love for herbal medicine, this sparked my interest for herbal magic.
I looked up who the most aclaimed writter on the matter was and his name poped up, I was amazed to see how his braod understanding of the craft, especially his knowladge on herbal magic. Douglas was also a member of a coven called the serpent stone family
in which he received his thrid degree initiation. So when I found all this out, I tried to get as many books he had written as I could.

Apologies for the huge list guys, I read alot! All of these topics are things that I wish to move onto in my own practise once I have established a firm foundation of the basics. But I want to make sure that I'm using at least some credible sources because at least that way I'll be following instructions from authers who have actual experience just as Douglas did.
Not that I am trying to knock other authers by saying this, but in my view you simply can't write about magic and how to use it unless you have experienced it fully. It is almost like trying to wrtie about going on a trip to the moon by simply imagininig it!
Anyway I'm really eager to hear your views on this guys, what authers you might recomenend besides the books Iv'e read or just anything you want to add in general would be much appreciated, thanks for reading :)

I couldn't begin to list the thousands of book I have read in my lifetime. But I will say this of any research, don't go to the apple that has fallen from the tree; go to the tree! You want to read about Wicca? Don't read Cunningham, he wanted to change it.Go to the source; Gerald Gardner, Doreen Valiente, Alex Sanders.
