A few ways, depending on the question one might be better than another. Cast a circle, invite the God and Goddess to join you and ask them is one way. Prayer is another, very overlooked, method. Simplest way is to bow your head and pray, but you could pray while meditating, in the morning or evening when you wake or go to bed, or light some incense dedicated to them and then pray. Remember the divine is within us as well, so you can connect with them.

If its something specific like a job or something, look into a spell.

You will know when they tell you. You can also pray to them.

That depends on the god(s). You'll need to be more specific as to whom you are wishing to speak with. Some just want prayer, others some type of sacrifice.

I want to speak with Hera and Aphrodite!!!

In that case you would want to start building a relationship with them. You might consider making an altar at whiich you honor them and perhaps make appropriate offerings. You can learn the sort of offerings they like by carefully reading the myths about them. Then it is a matter of talking or praying to them while you make your offering. If you catch their attention and they are pleased with your offerings they may let it be known that they are listening.

Hera can be picky to talk to. She may not respond right away, but there will be signs that She is listening.

I would first read up on those two Goddesses and see what They are like, what Their symbols are, what makes them angry and what doesn't, just so you have a good idea of what you want to do.

An offering, and then asking a "favor" (in this case, you would want to talk to Them) is how I would suggest you go about doing this.
