If you don't remember the dream, or the subject of the dream, how do you know you had a dream? There's no purpose to try to remember dreams, or to waste time thinking about them. A person can waste a lifetime dreaming but reality waits for no one, it simply goes on. What I'm saying is when you dream normally it will deal with your desires, being around love ones, or simply drifting off into a fantasy. We all love to dream to escape reality but we can't no matter what we do.

What I will tell you is, if you manage to atleast remember a single detail of your dream when you wake up you should right it down, or sketch the scene if you're a good artist and can remember it. If you're able to do that you can kind of infer what was going on in the dream.

You dont, I almost never in my life have had dreams (ones thoat I recall anyway) less than 10 and whats the point in remembering them, if you dont that means that you have deeper sleep than the avarige person

Everyone dreams, and there are different stages of sleep, we go through several REM stages of sleep each night, REM is when we dream.

A full sleep cycle is thought to be 6-8 hours.

Your inability to remember dreams does not mean you don't have them, if ou didn't you would be abnormal.
