Question.

I know this isn't about magic or this website or anything, but if you get too skinny or anorexic until you think your veins might come out, and you get even skinnier, will they pop out and explode and you die? Just something I've been wondering..

I know it sounds dumb, but want to know this.
It seems pretty realistic to me.

No, your veins will not burst. However, anorexia is a very serious illness; and can kill!
Too thin is just as bad as too fat! But it is difficult to know what is too fat, or too thin! It is more about body mass than actual weight.

Yeah, that's really what I meant, dying of anorexia even without veins bursting. I'm just so skinny for all the grease and fast food burgers I eat everyday. It's just most of the people at my school starve so much because the lunch ladies can't even cook, so I've gone from 150 pounds to less than 90.

Well you are young; still at school. Tell your parents about your worries. Perhaps a packed lunch would suit you better.
In any case, that drop in weight is very bad; you may need to see a doctor.

Sounds like you might be skinny fat. Means you look skinny but inside it's another story. I'd recommend cutting out the fast food and grease for a while or at least limit it to once or twice a week. Eat some veggies and fruits. Look into the leaner meats such as fish and chicken (not fried). High school is a trying time for fitting in and sadly this society pushes for ultra skinny through photomanipulation. I second the idea of bringing your own lunch. If you have problems because of teachers or anything, go to your guidance counselor and he/she will help you out.

There are many reasons why a person could lose weight even when eating what are normally considered fattening foods. Anorexia or other eating disorders are only a couple of the possible reasons. And yes, it is possible to become seriously ill or even die from losing too much weight. You need to discuss this with your parents and see a doctor so that they can find out why you are losing so much weight. Don't wait around on this, it could be truly damaging to your body to let this continue.
