Human spirit guides?

I understand, this is quite an odd question, but I can't find anything that confirms it, neither denies it.
Due to an odd incident in my life, I'm inclined to ask;
It is possible to have a human, instead of an animal or actual spirit as a spirit guide?
It's a weird question, I know, but I really need an answer.

Yes, there are human spirit guides. Every human comes into the world with some, usually ancestors from our biological past or humans we had relationships with in past lives. Ascended masters also offer their services to humans as guides; they are the ones who have already mastered the earth's lessons. If a parents dies while a child is very young, normally they will become a spirit guide for the child or if a child is an orphan, the parents and/or other close relatives (biologically) will assist the child through their life. Human spirit guides make excellent guides since they are able to relate to us more while we are in this form. They are able to offer us things that no other form of guide could bring to us.

If you were referring to humans on the physical planes right now with you, than no, they are not you spirit guide although they may be able to offer you spiritual guidance.
