Has anyone read....

I would assume most people have read various books on magic. But there are some other books that don't reference magic explicitly, but contain the same ideas of the God and Goddess being one essence, and how the monotheistic religions, particularly "traditional" Christianity, have repressed the Goddess as being equal to God, one example being Mary Magdalene. Kathleen McGowan and Margaret Starbird both work to restore Mary Magdalene to her role as the Lost Bride of Jesus, as well as restoring the feminine aspect of Christianity. These books are interesting, and I do notice a lot of parallels.

I think the christian god is a god from a polytheistic religion, who had the people suppress the other gods. I think Jesus did practice magic, but I think he didn't belong to any religion like wicca. I think he was Gods son, and God is just as bad as he would have us believe Satan and Lucifer are.(not saying they're necessarily good people).

and on Catholic mass being ritualistic, I see communion as being a ritual, because you go up to the altar and eat the eucharist as Jesus' body and drink the wine as Jesus' blood to help you into Heaven. Also, when you walk in your supposed to make the sign of the cross with the holy water to wash away all but mortal sins.
