Poe inspired prom

ok I'm going to my prom and it's a vegas theme but I want to add a Edgar Allen Poe type feel to my date and I. My dress is dark blue and simple. What can I do to my hair, make up and nails to Poe up and get a "make ya panic and fearful" look? Plus I have serious anxiety issues when I think bout going out to eat for prom. Anyway to ease the anxiety? Maybe a spell or concoction?

Hair, something simple and stark. Make up on the lighter side and eyes 'slightly' on the darker side. Make sure you shadow ALL around the eye , think johnny depp in the pirates movie, tho NOT as severe. Nails color coordinated. For him slick backed hair and 'some' guyliner NOT a lot to be 'obvious' but somewhat like a middle eastern man. and a 'simple tux or suit. Anxiety well, whatever you LOVE to drink will do.

Type "Gothic makeup,gothic and hair syles," in google and go to "images",as for nail pollish try dark purple,black or blood red.

Sorry,this is more gothic themed then poe but edger allen poe did write gothic fiction so a lot of goths like him.

i'd say put your hair in a bun, or wear a small black veil. your date could just wear a top hat mind, your hair shouldn't be too flashy, think classy [didn't mean for that to rhyme]

look up american victorian fashions for idea's. typically the hair was short, or in curls and done up.
