Ghost? Demon?

I've been pondering over this thought for a very long while now, if there is a demonic or ghost entity residing in my home. The only thought would be that a neighbor about a year ago killed himself, ever since then I have been wary of the idea. Recently, today and yesterday during the power outage of southern california, 30 minutes afterward the mirror in my bathroom fell from the wall itself, if the door wasn't opened then the mirror would have crashed. As the mirror fell, it knocked some items on the floor, breaking a small plate but for some reason a cheap plastic bottle seemed to have been knocked all the way towards the corridor leading from the bathroom, meaning it would have had to have been knocked from the sink counter which faces the doorway, bounce off the door, hit the cabinet-arrayed wall of the corridor, and bounce onto the flooring next to the wall near the bathroom doorway, but that amount of force couldn't have been done by a simple drop of the mirror placed shortly above the sink counter. Also earlier today, my dog had been barking in the living room, at nothing, from what I emerged to see she was barking at open space, different than when she would bark at a person coming into the house and she never barks at passing cars. Also yesterday morning, I awoke with a very strange and large mortal wound across my right pectoral, above the nipple area, the wound was so opened i can still see my individual fat cells inside with the wound scabbing up. Could it have been a demonic scratch? Or a really sharp fingernail of mine? I had a somewhat sharp fingernail at the time which could have been put to blame but I am still unsure, no fingernail of mine has ever been so sharp. Yet all this could be coincidential though..right?

sounds like you got a trapped spirit in your vicinity, probably the neighbor who took his life, quite a shame when people die with so much fear in their hearts that they cannot cross over to where they belong, earth bound spirits are rather persistent in showing off their existence in order to get help, since most people cant hear or communicate with the spirits the spirits aint got much other choice then to take extreme measures in order to make their existence acknowledged in hope of getting help.

My grand parents had a similiar encounter, 3 spirits where trapped on this plane in the area where their house where located and in dire need to get help to leave this plane, in their despair they even resorted to hurting my grand parents in order to get attention.

i think you should look into the matter and if it is indeed a spirit that needs help i suggest you help it.

I see, I suppose I should help the spirit if it is indeed a spirit, the spirit of the deceased suicidal person. To wonder why that person is haunting my home instead of their own home or the home upstairs from them (which had been newly occupied by some family friends.) I'll do whatever I can, as a rather poor Christian White Magus.

well its rather simple, spirits who are in need of help are drawn to us light workers like moths are to a flame, we are shining beacons in the darkness, the same goes for peoples, once we start to wield the light its counterpart will be drawn to us, there will always be peoples and spirits who seek the aid of us light workers.

Darkness is drawn to the light and light is drawn to the darkness, this is our responsibility to deal with the moment we choose to work with energy.

Very true. I've had spirits and demons leave people around me for this reason. Of coarse, it isn't only from a rule of opposites for attraction as darkness tends to attract more and so forth. I believe they may choose also based on level of sensitivity, ability to help, or in the case of demonic spirits, potential to be a threat or asset. Only the spirit can tell you.

The only way to get rid of this ghost is by talking to it. You basically need to start therapy with a dead person. Ask it about it's life, why it killed itself, and convince it that it should move on to the afterlife (it may not even be aware that it's dead).

This is true for some but for some rowdy or darker spirits it can take a little more. Banishings tend to only be a band aid but can help lay the floor for more thorough cleansings and protection. Creating a tolpa, or thoughtform, can also be used to keep it out. There are more direct approaches depending on your experience and skill but these sound more your speed.

I agree, though I've never heard of using a tulpa to do such work. I've only ever heard of tulpas as physical beings created through the power of thought and imagination (usually with a hint of magick). I suppose you could create one on the astral plane, but I think banishing spells would be much easier. Remember though, such spells should only be used if "diplomacy" fails (though I wouldn't be above protecting myself).

Thoughtforms have only ever been spirits, though there is folklore suggesting things like golems and all. They can be pretty easily made with enough intent and energy for a cleansing or protection, though naturally a banishing would be easier and should probably be done first anyway before trying.
