Question

I recently had someone offer to perform a spell for me, however they are in another country and wanted money for something I don't know of. Is this normal or is there anyone who is willing to help?

Thank you!

This is a scam. You should not send this person any personal information for yourself, nor should you send them money. If someone contacts you with offers like this on the site, please warn a moderator or the admin Petrarca.

Scam Scam Scam! As soon as they ask for money to perform a spell for you (unless it's for basic spell components), run the other way!

Scam, never listen to those who ask for money, if you cast the spell yourself it will be more powerful.

If you get a message asking for money report it right away, block the person, and let the mods or admons handle it

Be sure to save the mail in your mail box for Pet to review when you alert him as he will need the proof.

as mentioned, it's a scam.

now, one could cast for you in another city, state, or countries, it's a matter of knowing where to direct the energy. in this case however, i wouldn't listen to them. if it happened on SoM report it to Petrarca [aka 'Pet'] block the user and save the message. if it was another site or personal email, you can report it [just look up how to do so on said site] or mark their email as spam.
