The right tool?

Many paths promote many different tools for magical use. From the athmae to candles to dance ect! Are any better then others? Do some connect better with certain energy then others do! Is my oak staff that I took from a tree a better wand then my Harry Potter replica that I concacrated for magick work?

In my opinion, I believe it is whatever works for you. You do not need a wand but if it helps you concentrate on a certain direction then use it. It all depends on you. For instance, I do not always use my wand, I will either use my index finger or even a feather. Whatever you are comfortable with use it.

because they say you put your energy out into the world so if it makes you uncomfortable then you are putting out that into the universe

Have no idea I generally work with my will and in some cases chants and incantations, nordic runes or dao seals, but those stuff simply work for me as mediums. S
o if I have to answer I`d say no there are no better or worse tools only the right tools for the job(basically if it works use it if not get the one that does)

That feeling of uncomfortable can make a difference between a successful spell and a failed spell? How can you direct your will into something that you don't believe in the first place? Everything in magick and religion seems individualized and built for you! Tools would no doubt be the same.

If you are interested in something you will study as much as you can to have faith in it. Since, I am assuming, you are a beginner study the craft. The spirituality of it, the science of it, the practices, the religious aspects of it, just study the elements of magick that made you take interest and you will have faith in what you can do with it. If you do not believe in what you are doing or comfortable with what you do, then you will never see progress. All you can do is learn, practice, know you will fail, know you will succeed, enjoy what you do, and continue to learn. Hope this was helpful.

Tools are used for focus. A wand can be your finger, for example. A candle for more focus on the spell you are using it for. Focus is key to manifest what you want. Tools can help. I use candles. I love candle light. I have a wand I made, but rarely use it. I have athames, but have used them very little, though that's going to change, as I have been invited to lead a small group for monthly magick topics and things. Casting protective circle I will use them for, as with other things also.
In other words, tools are tools, used for pointing or directing energy, and for focus to make your mind concentrate on the workings you are doing. Hope this helps. Blessed Be...
