I was awoken this morning at exactly 2:03am to three knocks on my bedroom door (I live alone). For about ten minutes I was unable to move or feel the lower half of my body until the phone rang to let me know that my grandfather had coded. Of course I rushed to the hospital. He was no longer with us but his body hadn't quit yet. He officially passed at 5am. Have to wonder if the knocks and paralysis were connected to that or something else entirely.

maybe. i remember this one time i had a dream i was at my nanie's house she wasn't feeling well so i hugged her, then she ran to the bathroom and threw up. i woke up and it was 2 am. a few days later i called her and we got to talking, and on the same day she wasn't feeling well, she had a dream that i came over and gave her a big bear hug, she woke up around 2 and ran to the bathroom and was sick. sometimes there's a strong spiritual connection we just know. got another story about my mom, a few days after my great grandad died she was on the beach alone picking out rocks for our fireplace [we had a stone mantel] and as she examined one she heard great grandad say 'you know that's not a good one donnie'. i don't know what it is, but sometimes you just know, it's a connection, i'd like to think spiritually, but some type of bond connects people.

i am sorry to hear about your grandfathers death.
