Weight loss and exercise

I was wondering if anyone knows a very powerful workout routine AND a exercise regimen to go with it.

Please consider that I am only thirteen years old so I can't afford to buy gym membership or buy expensive ingredients.

You're 13 and your body is still developing. The best thing for you to do is to stay on a healthy and well-balanced eating style (maybe have some occasional sweets...). If you are in school then you should try to stay active through gym class or recess. You can even talk to your parents/guardians about taking you out for walks, bike riding, or simply playing outside. If you have concerns about being over weight then you should speak to your parents and let them consult a doctor.

Good luck. Stay away from things you aren't suppose to touch.

Okay. I'll avoid casting any spells then but I think staying away from sweets will be the hardest thing for me to do (especially if I have money).

I think you may have found part of the issue. I have a major issue with sugary things. But when I simply stopped drinking sodas, opting to drink nothing but water, I started losing weight. I've stopped being so strict, and my waist has grown an inch again in the past couple months.

Magfic may help with attitude or determination, however. It's part of the whole internal change thing.

prsona has it right. Fizzy drinks are a menace!
However,Lutuswriter mentions sweets (Candy). But they are not really the problem. There is very little sugar in Sweets; mainly artificial sweeteners. The real danger, and the reason so many people are overweight, is the "hidden" sugar in food.
Sugar is a "flavour enhancer" and is in just about all processed food.
All canned meat has sugar; baked beans; canned tomatoes ;bread; sausage. In fact, just about everything except fresh meant and vegetables. Breakfast cereals have a lot of sugar. Advertisers also play tricks; such as "50% less sugar!".
50% of what?

The processed meat isn't really a problem. My family are Nigerian so pretty much of all the food we eat is natural. We don't eat out that often (once or twice every six months).

Exercise isn't such s problem but I don't always do it (procrastinating). That's probably the first step.

In that case you are probably not overweight. Many young girls think they are overweight, when what they have is "puppy fat".
It would seem that in your case it is a matter of "eat less, exercise more". And the exercise need not be all that strenuous.Just walking is good. Swimming is even better!

Apply the 80%, 20% rule. It is the ultimate secret.
1.Eat 80% healthy&Eat 20% whatever you love.
2.Never leave your self to get hungry
3.Never waight what you eatand
4. Try to have stable hours. Especially lunch time eat like a king.
Is anybody out there who doesn' t know what is healthy? When you are hungrh eat 5 fruits if you can or a whole water melon if you can. But never be hungry!!
People get fat and thing about food all the time because all diets cound galories and give program what to eat. This is a failure. Enjoy life, eat wat you have at home and most of all thing before to put in your mouth what is infront of you. Dont see it forbitten, just think if you are allowed up that moment 20% what you love

When I was 13 I was huge [I hide all pictures from that year] thing is, when I turned 14 I grew two feet [I was always the shortest in my class] and everything evened out. So, don't worry too much. If you do pick up a diet and exercise routine, try and do it for other reasons beyond being thin. If you're mentally beating yourself up you will have a harder time losing weight, do it for personal reasons. [Looks isn't a bad thing, but it shouldn't be the only reason, it's very unhealthy]

You should work on overall weight loss since you cannot target an area, so start with cardio [get proper shoes! Trust me] you could start with long walks, then work your way up to jogging and running. Try interval training, walk 5 minutes, jog 2 minutes, walk 5 then work your way up to jogging/running longer. [Also, warm up and stretch when you're done] you can also try weight training after a while to tone [Look into squats, pushups and things you can do at home] leave the core exercises until later, muscle will build under any belly fat so your belly might poke out a bit more. Try taking measurements along with your starting weight, and check once every week or two. You may not loose weight, but you'll tone and certain parts of your body would get thinner.

Food wise, eat more fruits and vegetables, lean meats, whole grains. [Look into portion sizes] try to fill your plate with vegetables too. If you can, try finding a free app to help you with calorie counting. Figure out how much you need and cut out 200, carefully not too much since you're still growing, but also too much will put your body in starvation mode and it will store fat. SparkPeople is a good one since it also tracks your water, food, and the calories you burn through exercise. [Not sure if it's an 18+ app but it's free]
