"Warlock" is an old Anglo-Saxon word meaning "traitor" or "oath-breaker". Hollywood took over the word to mean a male Witch, but it doesn't mean that at all. It is not a term that those with any knowledge in the magical community would use to describe themselves.

And if I'm not mistaken that's what they called someone kicked out of a coven

Well, you can call yourself whatever you want, but you are not a witch just because you call yourself one. A true witch seeks to control the forces within themselves that make life possible in order to live wisely and well, without harm to others, and in harmony with nature. This is not my wording, it is from the book 'exploring wicca'

wise_eyes, remember too that Wicca and Witchcraft are two very different things. Wicca is a religion with specific beliefs and practices and a standing ethical code. Witchcraft is just that, a craft. Witchcraft is not bound to any particular set of religious beliefs or any particular rules of ethics in terms of their behaviors.
