Please note that I do not state any of my experiences as fact. They are merely my experiences in my journey.
One of my first pathwalking experiences was very blurry. It was hard for me to concentrate. I ended up at Yddgrasil and I looked around. What I saw was a giant Ash Tree with its branches spreading far and wide. I remember seeing the Norns toiling away at their waves of fate. They didn't pay any attention to me, so on I went. I sat up against the tree and closed my eyes. The tree's energy felt wonderful.
Another time, I went back to Yddgrasil. I looked down and I saw all the nine realms in vivid color and as clear as day.
Do you Journey/Pathwalk? If so, where have you gone?
It seems there's always a tree somewhere in a Journey, eventually. The Yggdrasil's the best one! (In my opinion).
When I got thwapped by Loki and started working with the giants, my introduction was floating in this ocean without any bottom or shores. There would be giant aquatic reptiles floating near me. I was too small for them to notice, but I could appreciate the enormity of...well, just the enormity. They were enormous...I didn't catch them as part of the lore, though, the idea of immensity got through all right.
Lately I've been Journeying off the Norse path, personally--although your experiences certainly are interesting to read :)
I do think you are fortunate to have the knowledge to Astral walk into some of the grandest places of the Aesir. I cannot help but be a little envious, since all my experiences are limited to our own mundane world. And while I am trying to do my best to open my third eye more completely to see the spiritual world around us, and to understand how working with Runes has an effect on said spiritual world, I am along ways from achieving anything of that magnitude. Although, if you can pass a minor how-to my way, I would be most grateful.
