Is the Pentagram bad???

I accidentally brought my notebook, where I write all my magic related stuff, to school. My friend who is very Christian bumped my desk and the notebook fell off and opened on a page where I had drawn a larger pentagram for a ritual I made. He freaked out and won't talk to me now. Is it really bad?

The pentagram is not bad it represents the five elements and sometimes represents jesus in the womb of mary also christians used to use the pentagram now days people tend to fear things they dont understand especialy christians (some of them) they tend to think anything they cant control or understand is evil or of the devil

Did you draw a pentagram or a pentacle? I've been researching and even though I'm new here I've learned the pentagram is the star the pentacle is the star with the circle around it. Many Christian churches tech that the inverted (upside down) pentacle is evil. It is not, though some Satanist worshipped use it in their practices. That's all the help I can offer for now.

The pentagram has been a sacred symbol ever since Man first studied the clear skies above the desert! It is (roughly) the orbital path of the planet Venus. The symbol is open to all sorts of "interpretations"; and is neither good nor bad.
And, yes, a pentagram within a circle is a pentacle.

People mostly fear the pentacle/pentagram because it is "evil"

It's not. It's not bad in any way, but others have tought themselves to fear that specific symbol.

People tend to see the Pentagram as a symbol of Satanism. Not many people truly know the meaning of the Pentagram. So the common conception is it has to do with Satanism, so people kind of freak out when they see it.
