I know that it's a five point star with a Circe around it. I know there are other variations of it. But I want to know the history. Comment or message me

I believe it was used as a secret sign inscribed on the palm that members of a secret group would show to each other in order to be admitted in their sanctuary. That's all I know...

From Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagram

A pentagram (sometimes known as a pentalpha or pentangle or a star pentagon ) is the shape of afive-pointed stardrawn with five straight strokes.

Pentagrams were used as an important religious symbol by theBabyloniansand by thePythagoreansinancient Greece. Pentagrams are used today as a symbol of faith by manyNeopagans, and may be found in jewelry incorporating the symbol. Several faiths also associate the pentagram withmagic.Christiansin the past commonly used the pentagram to represent thefive wounds of Jesus, and it has associations withFreemasonry.

There is a deeper history there but that is kind of the gist of it.
