Again it is me, I apologize. I don't know if it's against the rules to make two forums but um.. here we go! :)
How do you find your Deity? Is it different if you're wiccan?

in Wicca it's the Horned God [Holy/Oak Kings] and the Triple Goddess. [Maiden, Mother and Crone]

if you wish to have different deities, you need to do some soul searching. think about what religion you feel drawn too. say you love studying ancient Egypt. look at them, is their a deity that seems to 'speak' to you? for argument, let's say it's Thoth. you've always felt drawn to him, you've always studied him, and you've always been one for wisdom and writing. he would be considered your male deity. [keeping in mind as you grow this can change, and you're not forced to have just one] let's say you don't feel any connection with any other Egyptian gods like you do with Thoth. you can look at other religions.

if you don't really feel drawn to any one deity, you can also meditate on the question.

OK! Thank you. :) I've always felt close to The Three Main Goddesses.

Triple goddess and '3 main goddesses' are different, the triple goddess is one goddess with different aspects. Maiden, mother, crone? Do some research on it :D

Yeah I was right, it is maiden, mother and crone. Like I said, research different pantheons and paths.

as xChangEx said [rather insultingly in my opinion but whatever] the Triple Goddess is one being, her three aspects are Maiden, Mother and Crone. her trandformation into these three can be mapped out over the course of a month. [or a year] she has a few symbols but the one people use the most is )O( representing the moon. in the waxing phase, she is the Maiden; youthful. in the full moon she's the Mother; adulthood. finally in the waning phase she's the Crone; elderly.

many pagans [Wiccans mostly] seem to focus a lot on the Goddess because of their strong connection to her. it's fine if you do, but i feel many miss the point. one is not greater than the other, they work together, you shouldn't emphasize more of one than the other. [unless it's a certain holiday] just an opinion.

look for some Wiccan beginners guides to help you learn more about them. i know there's books specifically about her, but i've only seen them on store shelves, never actually picked them up, but there are books specifically about her. it's far easier to find information on her than the God i feel. here's a link that might help you in your journey:

yes the "Mother Goddess" is just another regurgitation of Mary, Mother of God, Hera, Isis, etc... Maiden, mother, crone is also another regurgitation taken directly from ancient Greek Moirai (apportioners). Clotho (spinner), Lachesis (allotter) and Atropos (unturnable). Nothing is new here, just a new pseudo-religion "borrowing" from ancient greek and trying to pass it off as something their own.
