spirits?

I was at my friends birthday party the other day and the party was being held in her garage. While everyone was chatting i felt something rub against my leg, i looked down and saw a black cat. it then ran under the table. When i asked the birthday girl why a cat was in here she looked at me like i was crazy and said she didnt have a cat . All the doors were closed so a cat couldnt have come in or left. I asked the others and only one other person had seen a black cat run under the table. The cat looked odd though it had ears, tail and everything but it was more like it was a shadow. Thanks for taking the time to read this blessed be.

You already came to the correct conclusion that it is a spirit. Since it rubbed against you, perhaps it was there for you. It may be an animal guide, a familiar, a nature spirit in the guise of a cat, or just the spirit of a deceased cat that you were open to making contact with. I wouldn't put too much thought into it unless the cat makes more appearances and continues to interact with you. Spirits are everywhere and you are open to them, so things like this will happen throughout your life. They don't always have meaning. Cats like to rub on people as a sign of affection, so apparently it was friendly. Smile and carry on. =)

I hope this isn't seen as a hijack, but perhaps the content is relevant enough to the original post.

As my father's coffin was being wheeled down the aisle of the church, there were four, male pall-bearers, two either side, and a female following behind.

At the wake, several hours later, my sister-in-law remarked that she had never seen a female pall-bearer before (this was the early 80's) and I agreed that it was a first for me as well. Yet she and I were the only ones to have witnessed this. Even my aunt (my late father's sister) who was herself psychic, had no recollection of having seen this woman, yet everyone concurred there had been four males.

We concluded this had been the apparition of my father's first wife, who had died young.
