How do you know what covenant is right for you? Should I join one? Looked at all the descriptions and none seemed the perfect fit but some had some things I was interested in.

well you're not stuck in the coven. i've been through my share of covens, find one that focuses on something you want to learn about, then when you want to learn something else, go to another coven. what are you wanting to study?

You don't have to join a coven to practice. You can learn and progress just fine on your own. But the benifits of a coven setting are obvious. There are others you can talk too and share with some of which are more experienced and can explain things better then others or books. As far as finding one for you take one who has the most benifit to your learning and practice. Not just those who teach things that you want to learn.

I recommend an online coven at least, which if you think about it is what this whole site is, because of the wealth of knowledge that it can bring. A real one on the streets or in your area is even better since you get the practical application as well as the rest. But work on the basics and all the other stuff that you want to do will come in it's own time.
